slow progress.

from: Classic Copenhagen

Not much has been happening by way of preparations. Uni work has really gotten a handle on me, not to mention work and various other events, like seeing Dear John and going to Taste of Sydney.

So, just a short update:

  1. ESAC: The first event ever on 4th March turned out to be pretty ok, but I haven’t gotten out of the social comfort zone yet… No matter. The only thing, meetings are held on Wednesdays while I have class, and most of the social events seem to be happening on Thursdays, when I’m not at uni…
  2. Travel XPO: Headed to the Travel XPO at Olympic Park last Saturday. It was exciting again, collecting brochures and thinking about all the possible destinations, picking up freebies (!!) and just being able to talk to some people about realistic options while I’m there. Also did some new passport photos, which I’ll need for visa, ID etc etc. They look funny though!
  3. UoC Application: Finally got around to submitting this last Sunday. I keep checking the status though, and it says that it is still yet to be received. I sent the International Office an email, but no response so far…
  4. BUILD program: I got the acceptance email on Thursday! YAY! I guess it doesn’t really have anything to do with Exchange, but exchange has something to do with it, so it’s nice to keep it in here.
  5. Language classes: I think I have decided that I want to do these. The next term starts the week of April 19, so I should keep up to date with that in the coming weeks. *note to self* I should get a Danish widget… Hah!

Other than that, there hasn’t been that much going on. Just getting through uni, and that’s about it… How sad! :(
